COTA parking passes: how we handle yours.

Every Luxesmith F1 booking must be paired with a COTA parking pass, so your pass, your lot and your pickup point are settled before race day.

You provide one: tell us which lot or credential you hold and we plan around it.
Or we get one for you: we work with COTA to get a pass as close to your suite or seat as we can, and build it into your quote at cost.
Check your package first: guests holding premium hospitality or suite packages often have parking or access credentials included. Check yours before buying anything.
Buy official parking passes

Passes are sold by COTA (fulfilled by Ticketmaster). Three-day passes run about $212 to $558 with fees, depending on the lot, and single days start at $52 (as of September 2026). The F1 Austin transportation questions we get most.

Yes, and it’s how we set up every race weekend. You reserve a black car and one chauffeur by the day, in 10-hour reservations, for a single day or the whole US Grand Prix weekend. Hotel, track, dinner and the airport all run on your schedule. We go over your times with you before anything is booked, and if a day runs long you can extend in 15-minute increments.
No surge. Race days are $190 an hour for an executive sedan, $200 for an executive SUV (Suburban) and $225 for a luxury SUV (Escalade), booked as 10-hour days. The 14-passenger Sprinter is quoted by request. You get a fixed price in writing before the weekend, and if you run past your ten hours, extra time bills in 15-minute increments at the same rate. Race days need a COTA parking pass. Bring yours, or we get one and add it at cost.
We don’t run stretch limos. When a group wants a limousine-style day, the Escalade or the 14-passenger Sprinter does the job, with one chauffeur who stays with you from the hotel lobby to the ride home. Tell us your headcount and we’ll recommend the right one.
One private car and one chauffeur for your whole race weekend, with your COTA parking pass handled and your car parked at the circuit all day. Every booking gets that. For the drive in and out, you can add the Race Weekend Fast Pass for the VIP restricted-access route. The next question has the details.
It’s an add-on for the drive in and out. For $3,500 per vehicle, your Luxesmith vehicle carries an official COTA pass for the VIP restricted-access route into and out of COTA for the race weekend. It is not a police escort. It works alongside your COTA parking pass and doesn’t replace it. There are only a few, and they’re assigned in booking order. If you want a private police escort as well, we quote that separately. The Race Weekend Fast Pass section above has the details.
Not at the gates. COTA runs Uber and Lyft through its rideshare lot off McAngus Road, and a free tram brings you in from there. It works fine on the way in. Leaving is slower, since everyone requests a ride at once, and it can take 2 to 4 hours. With a car service and a COTA parking pass, your chauffeur is already parked at the circuit. Text when you’re ready and walk to the car.
During the Grand Prix, COTA opens COTA Blvd only to vehicles with a parking pass, car services included. So every Luxesmith booking is paired with one. If you have a pass, we use it. If you don’t, we get one through COTA as close to your suite or seat as we can and put it in your quote at cost. Private-suite packages often include parking, so check yours first. Your car and chauffeur stay parked at the track all day.
As early as you can. Race-weekend vehicles around Austin tend to book out months ahead, and the closer COTA parking lots go early too. Full-weekend reservations fill first. If you’re reading this in October, call or text us anyway. We’ll tell you straight what’s left.
On COTA days it’s the full day. Race days book as 10-hour reservations because your chauffeur parks at the track and waits, so the car is there whenever you decide to leave, right after the podium or an hour later. For arrival and departure days with no track time, a regular point-to-point ride costs less and works well. Those year-round rates are published on our Austin car service page.
Yes. We track your flight and your chauffeur meets you in baggage claim at AUS. Flying private, we pick up at Signature, Atlantic Aviation, Million Air and Austin Executive. Landing on a race day? Airport to COTA is about 10 miles, and we can start your day right there. For a Sunday flight home, leave at least 3 hours between the checkered flag and departure. Circuit of The Americas (9201 Circuit of The Americas Blvd, Austin, TX 78617) is about 15 miles southeast of downtown and about 10 miles from Austin-Bergstrom. On race days you can take COTA’s park-and-ride buses, use Uber or Lyft to the rideshare lot, drive yourself with a parking pass, or have a car and chauffeur for the day. If you book with us, we work out your departure time together before race day.
Yes. You get one coordinator and one invoice for the whole group. Sedans, SUVs and the 14-passenger Sprinter run on a shared schedule, and each vehicle is paired with its own COTA parking pass. Plans move around on race weekend. When yours do, text us and we rework the schedule.

Yes. Thursday, October 22 is new this year: COTA’s Grand PrixView day, with F1 Academy on track and a pit lane walk before the weekend crowd shows up. Weekend parking passes don’t cover Thursday. COTA includes parking in Lots F and H with a Thursday ticket instead. Tell us you want a car that day and we’ll add it to your quote and work out the parking with you.
F1 race-weekend reservations receive a full refund when canceled 30 or more days before your first service date. Cancellations 15-29 days out are charged 50%, and cancellations within 14 days are charged the full balance. If we cannot provide your vehicle, you receive a full refund.
